Depending on the nature of your medical condition, he may very well have sound medical reasons for prescribing one type of IV solution over another. This is a concern that should be discussed with your physician directly. There are still many physicians out there who are not aware of the the benefits of Silver Sol. Because it was my understanding that saline solution cannot be used if one needed an IV because the saline will inactivate the silver sol.
